On July 26, Chengdu held a major project signing ceremony for the third quarter of 2024 as part of its investment promotion and attraction initiatives. Seazon Motor and PanGood Power’s Manufacturing Base Project was the first project signed during the event. With a total investment of 8 billion RMB and the simultaneous implementation of two projects, this initiative marks a breakthrough for Sichuan Province and Chengdu city in establishing a new energy commercial vehicle headquarters. The project will address gaps in Chengdu’s advanced motor R&D and manufacturing capabilities, while building a full industrial chain ecosystem from commercial vehicle manufacturing to core components. Sichuan’s Vice Governor Zuo Yongxiang attended and witnessed the event, while Wang Fengchao, Chengdu’s Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor, attended, witnessed the event, and delivered a speech.
